Bass River Golf Course

Bass River Golf Course, in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, was founded in 1900. In 1914 it was redesigned and expanded by golf course architect Donald Ross. A beautiful 18 hole layout featuring wide fairways, small greens and views of Bass River. With multiple sets of tees and an overall legnth of 6138 yards from the tips Bass River is fun for all levels. The signature hole#9, a 169-yard par 3, which plays across marshland to an elevated green.

The meticulously-maintainted Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth is open to the public as well as members, and offers a practice range, two putting and chipping greens, and a full-service Pro Shop. Blue Rock is a course for all ages and abilities: holes range from 103 to 255 yards, with our signature #9 hole – at 169 yards over water to a kidney shaped green – named one of “Cape Cod's 18 Best.”

Blue Rock Golf Course opened to the public in 1962, after founder Pete Davenport engaged top golf course designer Geoffrey Cornish to build the first championship par 3 golf course in the region. Today Pete's son, DeWitt, and grandson, Christian, carry on the tradition of Blue Rock as a top-rated course.

Blue Rock Golf Course, with its course-side resort, is a Cape Cod golf course for all abilities: it challenges the veteran golfer to use every club in the bag and is perfect for the new golfer to feel comfortable and learn the game with Blue Rock Golf Academy and for junior golfers to feel welcome and advance their skills.

Blue Rock is meticulously maintained and has been featured in many of golf's leading magazines and digests. Located in a wooded setting among residential neighborhoods, Blue Rock Golf Course measures 3,000 yards in length from the professional tees and features four picturesque and challenging water holes. Holes range from 103 to 255 yards, with the ninth hole as the signature hole. At 169 yards over water to a kidney-shaped green, this hole was named one of Cape Cod's 18 Best.

The course is open to the public and offers a private practice range for lessons, two putting and chipping greens and a full-service Pro Shop. Blue Rock's casual restaurant, The Grill Room, serves daily breakfast and lunch until mid-afternoon. And be sure to visit the lounge for a post-round refreshment (hours vary by season).
